Xabi Alonso and at Least 5 Signings: Florentino's Revolution at Real Madrid 25/26

The Basque coach will arrive at the Madrid team with several requests for the next season

Carlo Ancelotti is in the final stretch of his second stint as coach of Real Madrid. Although his possible move to the Brazilian national team would have been thwarted, his continuity beyond the Club World Cup is practically unfeasible. Everything points to the Italian leaving once LaLiga ends to make way for Xabi Alonso, the desired coach for the next season.

As has been mentioned on numerous occasions, the main candidate to take over the Real Madrid bench is Xabi Alonso. However, Jürgen Klopp, currently the sporting director of the Red Bull group, is also under consideration. However, the Bayer Leverkusen coach, like Ancelotti, has a contract until 2026, but the German club would be willing to facilitate his departure.

Xabi Alonso Will Arrive with Some Requests

Xabi Alonso's desire is to join Real Madrid, but the coach has already made it clear to the club that he needs reinforcements to compete for all titles next season.

Thus, one of the possible reinforcements Real Madrid is considering in the next market is a player currently managed by Xabi Alonso. With the evident need to strengthen the full-backs, the club would have Alejandro Grimaldo on their radar. The Spanish full-back, trained at La Masia, has been considering a change of scenery for some time to face new challenges in his career.

Another alternative that Xabi Alonso would like is Theo Hernández, who is currently shining at AC Milan. Additionally, names like Federico Dimarco from Inter and Riccardo Calafiori, currently with Arsenal, are also on the list of options.

A Piece for the Midfield and Another for the Attack

Xabi Alonso is very clear that Real Madrid, sooner or later, will have to cover the departures of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. Therefore, some of the names that appeal to the Basque coach are Martín Zubimendi or Enzo Fernández.

Additionally, Real Madrid is always very alert to the situation of each of the strikers on the national and international scene. Profiles like Erling Haaland, Viktor Gyökeres, or Alexander Isak are mentioned every summer to strengthen the attack.

Obviously, Xabi Alonso knows that fulfilling his expectations one hundred percent is very complicated. However, the coach from Tolosa hopes that, at least, Real Madrid can finalize some of the mentioned signings.
