Xabi Alonso has already informed him, he doesn't want him at Real Madrid: he doesn't train

The footballer, who returned to the club after completing his loan, is not part of Xabi Alonso's plans

It's the news we've reported practically every summer. Reinier Jesus' future is once again marked by uncertainty after returning, once again, to Valdebebas. Since his arrival at Real Madrid in January 2020, his career hasn't taken the desired direction.

The Brazilian's loans to Borussia Dortmund, Girona, Frosinone, and his recent stint at Granada haven't managed to convince the club. At 23 years old, Reinier is no longer part of any area of the club's plans. In fact, Xabi Alonso has already told him that he doesn't count on him and that he'll have to look for other plans away from Bernabéu.

Reinier Jesus still fails to take advantage of his opportunities

Last season was another missed opportunity for a footballer who, perhaps, didn't have the level for Real Madrid. Last season, although he caused some excitement in the preseason by scoring a few goals, it became clear that his participation was merely circumstantial.

At that time, the absence of several footballers led Carlo Ancelotti to draft several reserve players and Reinier Jesus. The footballer returned from another loan and, to everyone's surprise, delivered good performances. However, he wasn't drafted for the tour of the United States and his light faded completely again.

Reinier is out of Real Madrid

His performance at Granada CF last season wasn't encouraging either. He played in 25 matches, starting only 14, and contributed one goal along with four assists in the Second Division. We're talking about a poor record considering the category and that his goal was to stay in the first team at Madrid.

According to MARCA, neither the first team nor Castilla led by Arbeloa count on him for next season. Reinier will have to look for a way out this summer if he doesn't want to be left without a team. Although he has a contract until 2026, at Real Madrid his time is already considered over.

He's currently training in Brazil with his personal physical preparation team, aware that time is running against him. The club hasn't called him up for the start of preseason and, as is evident, he won't travel to United States either. It's a message that makes it clear he has to pack his bags.
