After Nico Paz and Jacobo, Cesc wants another star from La Fábrica
Cesc sets his sights on another talent from Madrid's youth academy
Last summer, Como secured the signing of Nico Paz, which turned out to be a great success. The Argentine has become the leader of the Italian team and one of the top stars in Serie A. It seems that Cesc wants to continue down that same path with new targets.
This summer, he already signed Jacobo Ramón, who had been left without a spot in the first team. It doesn't seem like that's going to be the only signing he wants, as he's now eyeing another star from La Fábrica. Although in this case, it's not a footballer who has worn the merengue jersey this season.

We're referring to Álex Jiménez, who, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, has become a target for Como. Cesc considers him a good addition for the right-back position and is trying to make the most of the transfer market. This is a move that Real Madrid is watching very closely to see what might happen.
It's important to note that Alex left La Fábrica to head to Milan, where he has performed well. When they finalized his sale, the merengues included a buy-back clause. So they could have a role in the deal if they want to bring him back.
Real Madrid has him on its radar
Álex Jiménez's name isn't being linked to Real Madrid for the first time in the transfer market. There was speculation about his possible return, taking advantage of the aforementioned buy-back clause. However, this summer, they ended up signing Trent for the right-back position.
However, in the medium and long term, they need to sign another player for that position. Among other reasons, Carvajal is already a player in the final stretch of his career. So his departure is closer than it seems, even though he's still in good condition.

Álex is one of the options they've identified, but he wouldn't be the only one on their list. In fact, the main desire is Jesús Fortea, who this year will be under Arbeloa's orders at Castilla. They believe he's the player who should eventually take over the right-back position at Bernabéu.
