This is how the first light tests on the Bernabéu facade have looked

They have already tried one of the most desired new features at Bernabéu

It's been a while since matches returned to Santiago Bernabéu after the completion of the construction work. The full capacity was even enabled, although at first it wasn't possible due to some reductions. Little by little, new features were introduced as certain tasks were completed.

The truth is that not all the advantages the stadium offers after the renovations have been fully utilized yet. If last season the 360° video scoreboard was introduced, this time it's the lighting's turn.

They haven't stopped there, and the next step has been the light tests carried out on the façade. In fact, we've been able to see how they tested a videomapping projection for the outside of the stadium. It definitely looks great, which will be another step forward for match days.

Although these have only been tests so far, we don't know if they're preparing something for the next league match. The match against Mallorca will take place this Saturday, and they might have something planned. As we've mentioned, it's not confirmed, but the club is working on something.

A spectacular stadium despite criticism from Culers

From the Barcelona side, they've focused on criticizing Bernabéu and how it looks after the renovations. These attacks were only meant to mask the great failure of Culers with Camp Nou. The truth is that they still can't play matches there with all the doubts they have.

The City Council said it was dangerous for spectators to attend matches at Camp Nou. Even though Laporta keeps saying they'll return in November 2024. Meanwhile, Madridists are enjoying a spectacular stadium.

The retractable roof allows for a unique atmosphere during matches, as they've already been able to see. All of this, with a video scoreboard and a light show that creates a unique experience before kickoff. Now, the projections on the façade could help, which will leave fans impressed.
