Alphonso Davies Plays Three-Way and Real Madrid Knows It, His Future is Uncertain

The Canadian player's contract remains one of the operations expected by the white club

One of Real Madrid's most anticipated transfers  ahead of the 2025 summer transfer market is Alphonso Davies. Doubts at the left wing are back this season due to the irregular form of Ferland Mendy, would give reasons to sponsor the transfer of the Canadian '19' as a free agent.

That operation, in which Madrid seems to be one of the best placed teams, is not yet decided. From the Valdebebas offices they act with caution, reminding the player of their high interest in having him from the 2025 summer. Davies knows this first hand but continues to evaluate his options.

According to British media, The Daily Briefing reports that the Bayern Munich player is still keeping his future in the European soccer elite in suspense. The evaluation and study of the offers received to date hasn't yet been completed because there'd be much to consider.

In England  they reveal that Davies' agent, Nedal Huoseh, would be in the country over the New Year. The Christmas break would be the ideal time for clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester United to try to gain ground to sign him. Especially taking advantage of the loss of fluidity in the talks with Bayern Munich.

Without haste but without pause

Disagreements in the first exchanges   It is believed that the Bavarian team would have made it difficult to reach an understanding with Alphonso Davies' professional entourage. In this sense, possible negotiations to extend his stay in the locker room at the Allianz Arena have been 'frozen' until next January.

By then, Real Madrid hope to receive an answer regarding Davies' future. The Madrid bosses have repeatedly made it clear that they are prepared to make a good offer, appropriate in terms of salary, to the left-back. But they can't wait forever, as they are already considering several 'plan B's' in case that transfer fails miserably.

The idea at the Valdebebas offices is to clear up the unknowns surrounding Davies during the month of January, presumably to ensure his arrival to the team in the summer of 2025. This version contrasts with the calm that prevails on the player's side, closely monitoring the movements of three other clubs willing to take his signature.

Real Madrid's patience could run out and they may rule out Alphonso Davies as a transfer despite his free agent status. So far that hasn't happened, hoping for a reply to his ideas for the future... knowing that he only has six months left on his current contract with Bayern Munich.
