Internal Dispute between Ancelotti and Pintus over Injuries in the Team
The coach and the physical trainer are keeping a pulse on all the problems that are occurring in the team
Real Madrid has a real problem with injuries this season. The Meringue team has accumulated almost thirty physical misfortunes and many of them, if not the vast majority, are due to muscular problems.
If last year the team lost Thibaut Courtois and Éder Militão at the beginning of the season, the same has happened this season. The Brazilian has torn the ligament in the right knee, previously it was the left one, and Dani Carvajal has joined as a new addition.
They are joined by the names of Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, Ferland Mendy… Not to mention Vinícius, Camavinga and, more recently, Kylian Mbappé. The French forward was unable to complete even the first half of this Tuesday's game against Atalanta.
'After tests carried out today on our player Kylian Mbappé by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a thigh injury on the left leg. Pending evolution,' Madrid said in a statement on its website.
The '9' is the latest to 'fall' and the alarm are ringing in Madrid's coaching staff, who are unable to find an answer, much less a solution.
War in sight
According to Eduardo Inda on 'El Chiringuito de Jugones', Carlo Ancelotti and Antonio Pintus blame each other for what happens with injuries. The director of 'OkDiario' has gone further, pointing out that both only maintain a 'strictly professional' relationship.
'There is a slight dispute between the coach and Pintus. They blame each other because Ancelotti believes that the injuries are the fault of the physical trainer. Pintus, on the other hand, argues that Carlo doesn't rotate the players,' said Inda.
'Pintus says that when Carlo makes changes, they are in the 80th minute and the starters are overloaded, having young players of the highest level,' the Navarrese journalist explained.
According to 'OkDiario', Ancelotti would prefer to have a fitness coach he trusts, although that is very complicated. Pintus was a strategic transfer in which Florentino Pérez put a lot of effort.
It is clear that the club will have to intervene in this dispute if it doesn't want to have another added problem…
