Ancelotti Asks for a Second Transfer beyond Alexander-Arnold, was at the Supercopa
Carlo Ancelotti has been very clear with Real Madrid's executives in the last few hours
Carlo Ancelotti is loyal to his team. Something he has already demonstrated with Parma, Juventus, AC Milan, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Napoli, and of course, Real Madrid.
The man from Reggiolo avoids making much noise in press conferences, so he keeps deflecting questions about the market.
"We haven't changed the idea. These are discussions we have with the club to try to have a competitive Real Madrid. Talking here about this topic, about what I discuss with the club, doesn't seem right to me," explained Ancelotti this Wednesday in a press conference.
However, the reality is that he knows the team is short and needs transfers, especially in defense, something he has made clear to the management.
Carvajal and Militão, immovable first team players for Ancelotti, won't play again this season and the options of Lucas Vázquez and Aurélien Tchouaméni are not the most advisable.
Laporte, the desired one
The coach understands that Florentino and José Ángel Sánchez won't do anything crazy, but he has asked them for an extra effort for Aymeric Laporte.
The Frenchman was seen last weekend at the King Abdullah Sports City, which has sparked all the rumors.
The Spanish center-back is eager to return to Spain and the possibility of joining the white club is something that entices him.
The problem for Aymeric Laporte is that he has a contract with Al-Nassr, so this operation could become viable only if he parts ways with the Arab team.
This is something that doesn't seem very easy, but the experienced center-back has until February 3 to finalize his departure and sign with Real Madrid.
This operation would allow Ancelotti to breathe easy, especially because the team would see a delicate area reinforced, gain height, and complement perfectly with Rüdiger.
Additionally, a transfer of this type would strengthen the team, aiming to compete for all titles in the second half of the season.
