Ancelotti's Response About the Copa Final That Surprises Everyone: 'It Could Be'
The Italian coach denies that there are favorites in the final and believes that the chances are 50% for Madrid and Barça
Carlo Ancelotti has appeared at a press conference after his team's victory in the league. But what has drawn the most attention wasn't the analysis of the match, but his comment about the Copa final against Barcelona.
Asked about the favoritism of the Barça team, the Italian coach was clear and direct: "It's a final, anything can happen. They may arrive more as favorites, but a final is a final."
A phrase that surprised everyone. Accustomed to not generating controversies, this time Ancelotti didn't hesitate to hint that Barça has an advantage. However, he also reminded that in a final nothing is written.
Camavinga and Alaba, Almost Ruled Out
Ancelotti also spoke about the physical condition of some key players.
"Well, we'll have to see tomorrow. They are muscle discomforts, I think. Difficult to recover them for Saturday," he said in reference to Camavinga and Alaba.
Real Madrid could reach the final without two important pieces, which complicates the Italian's strategy even more.

Regarding the match, the coach explained that he is not unhappy. "I'm not upset because we added three points, which was the goal," he assured.
He added that the team played very well in the first half, but in the second they suffered more. "They pushed more and we had more difficulties controlling the ball," he acknowledged.
Güler Convinces, But Still Has Room
Ancelotti also assessed Arda Güler's performance.
"He played very well as an inside midfielder, with quality, with ideas, and with a lot of calmness," he stated.
He commented that in the 4-3-3 he can play as an inside midfielder, but in a 4-4-2 his place would be as a right winger.
"He lacks a bit more forcefulness in duels, but he has a lot of quality," he explained.
Regarding the lack of goals, the coach admitted that the team needs more accuracy. "We lack more effectiveness up front. We've sought more solidity at the back," he said.
He confirmed that Fran García will be the starting left-back in the final: "Fran García," he replied without hesitation.
