Arda Güler Sparks a Derby in Italy and Real Madrid Have a Clear Preference

The Turkish footballer would have proposals from AC Milan and Inter on the table

Arda Güler is not satisfied with his current situation at Madrid, the club he joined in the summer of 2023 after rejecting offers from major teams. The young Turk feels he is not getting the playing time he believes he deserves on the team.

As the end of the season approaches, Arda Güler has played barely a thousand minutes, with his last appearance against Real Betis. That afternoon, the midfielder came on as a substitute for half an hour in the Madrid team's defeat.

Arda Güler's situation is complicated, as there is great competition for players in his position. Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti is not usually a coach who firmly bets on younger footballers. This has made it difficult for the Madrid '16' to get the minutes he expected since his arrival at the club.

Arda Güler Begins to Receive Offers from Abroad

According to various sources, Arda Güler, whose main desire is to succeed at Real Madrid, could be loaned out next summer. This option is considered the most likely, given that the young Turk has not managed to establish himself in the first team.

Inter Milan would be the latest team to show interest in Arda Güler, according to reports from 'Tuttosport'. The Turkish attacking midfielder could join his compatriot Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who has been at the club for four years, which could ease his adaptation to the team and Italian soccer.

Additionally, as reported by Ekrem Konur himself, a Turkish journalist, AC Milan has also joined the race. Both clubs, fierce rivals in Italy, could battle it out in the offices to secure the loan of Arda Güler next season.

There Is Still Confidence in Arda Güler

With an agreement signed until 2029, Güler was signed thanks to the management of Juni Calafat, one of Florentino's most trusted men. The operation was closed for around 25 million euros, making him a strategic signing for Real Madrid. Additionally, his contract includes a release clause considered unattainable, ensuring his stay at the club.

However, at Real Madrid they are very clear that his loan would be beneficial so that the footballer doesn't see his progression stalled. However, having him leave on loan and not transferred is key, as they also believe he can have a place in the medium to long term.
