Barça protests over Vinícius and Raphinha after Ancelotti's list

They try to complain without realizing the preferential treatment for them

The first international break of the season is approaching and controversy is brewing over the drafts. For years, they have boasted about having the best players and saw it as an achievement when they were drafted by their countries. Now they're furious about what happened with Brazil and the latest squad list.

The list of players drafted by Brazil is now official, and neither Rodrygo nor Vinícius are among those selected. Meanwhile, Raphinha is included, which doesn't seem to have convinced Barcelona fans. Now they believe Madridists should be included when they've spent their time criticizing them.

But the truth is that Ancelotti has made the decision not to draft Madrid players for these matches. In Vinícius's case, it's important to note that he is suspended for the first match. However, this has also been a measure taken so they can rest.

This isn't a measure of favoritism for Real Madrid or an attack on Barça players. Instead, the Italian has considered a factor, which is that Madridists played the Club World Cup. Something Raphinha didn't do after Barça's failures in recent seasons.

They don't complain as much about favoritism in La Liga

Barça wasn't in the Club World Cup because it didn't qualify for the first edition. That allowed them to go on vacation and have a long rest before returning to work. They also had a long preseason to be fully prepared.

However, this is something Real Madrid hasn't been able to enjoy after Javier Tebas's decision. Two weeks is all the preparation time Madridists have had, putting their health at risk. In addition, they haven't had a long vacation break to rest.

This favoritism doesn't seem to worry Culers as much, since they haven't raised their voices. Quite the opposite of now, as they're protesting after Raphinha's draft. The fact is, they believe Madridists should also be drafted, even if their health is at risk.
