Cristóbal Soria, on the verge of tears, confesses it live: I'm afraid

Cristóbal Soria has always been a spokesperson serving Barça's interests as the good anti-Madridist that he is. In fact, even though he tries to disguise himself as a Sevilla supporter, he is more drawn to the blaugrana colors. This is partly due to the situation that Sevilla have been going through for years.

At the start of this season, we have seen it again, with two defeats already, first against Athletic and then Getafe. The latter happened this Monday and triggered Soria's reaction on El Chiringuito. With tears in his eyes, he confessed his feelings after watching "his" team.

"I came with a lot of hope because in the first league match, they played a very good second half. But today, when faced with any setback, the team gives in," he analyzed after losing to Getafe. It seems that the hope with the new coach hasn't lasted long for Sevilla fans.

"I felt like my world collapsed" seeing what could be coming for them this season. It should be remembered that they have narrowly escaped relegation several times in recent years. Right now, the feelings they have after two matchdays don't seem to be very positive.

Cristóbal Soria Expects the Worst for This Season and Pedrerol Laughs

"I'm not ready to go through the 36 Sevilla matches left in the league because I'm afraid. My heart, today, I suffered a lot, and just thinking about the 36 matches I have left, I expect the worst," he said. Before half-confessing what his intention is for this season.

Everything suggests that he will stop doing Sevilla's live matches on El Chiringuito.  "I think I should be at Sánchez Pizjuán, do my part," he indicated. He wants to be in the stands this season for Sevilla's home matches.

After that confession  Pedrerol mocked him: "Do you think you can be key in that?" He laughed at Soria thinking he could change the course of a team whose outlook is bleak. He left open the possibility of freeing him from doing the live matches on the show.
