Transfer canceled and there's no turning back: Real Madrid denies its change of mind
The white executives insist on their original stance and that the transfer will not take place
Real Madrid remains active in the transfer market of European soccer's elite. Since the elimination in the Club World Cup, a thrashing against PSG that not many expected, the white club's top brass seem to have doubled their moves to find transfer targets.
One of the latest to join the white club, however, will definitely be left out of Santiago Bernabéu locker room: Abdellah Ouazane. The Moroccan defensive midfielder was shaping up to be one of the major additions to Real Madrid Castilla coached by Álvaro Arbeloa, but it won't be possible.

When everything seemed ready for the African footballer to face the final stages of his move from Ajax of Amsterdam, a problem occurred that disrupted the entire transfer. The medical examination detected an issue that paused the signing while second and third opinions were sought.
According to what we have been able to confirm from Defensa Central, Real Madrid would have had access to those "secondary" medical examinations to check that Abdellah Ouazane is in perfect physical condition. However, the decision made in the Valdebebas offices is very clear: the footballer no longer has a place in the first reserve team.
The signing is over
Real Madrid has officially withdrawn from the opportunity to sign Abdellah Ouazane, so the Moroccan footballer will not be able to wear the white jersey. While it is true that this was his ideal future, chosen by the player himself, a problem with the white club's medical examinations would have dashed those possibilities.
The move to sign this Moroccan footballer, thwarted after an unexpected result in the medical tests, is part of an urgent trend in the first team. The search for Toni Kroos's heir continues, given the requests from Xabi Alonso.

The Tolosa coach would have placed Arda Güler at the base of the play as the first option, a decision that is delivering better results than initially expected. However, the white coaching staff understands that it needs another player, another organizing pivot, to definitively restructure the reserve team locker room.
Abdellah Ouazane could well have been the chosen one for those tasks in a few years. The issues recorded during his medical tests, essential to prove whether he can truly play for Real Madrid, prevent a destiny the player intensely desired. Now it's time to start from scratch, once again, in this particular search.
