Castilla will request the postponement of the second matchday: RFEF involved

Arbeloa has a serious problem for the next match and is requesting it to be postponed

New clash looming between Real Madrid and RFEF, this time with Castilla as the main victim. Arbeloa's project began the season this Friday with a great victory. They defeated Lugo 2-1 at Di Stéfano and are already looking forward to the next matchday with anticipation.

They would have to face Racing de Ferrol, but that match is currently in doubt as to whether it will take place. The reason is that the white club is going to request its postponement for a significant reason. Arbeloa is going to have a lot of difficulties being able to field eleven footballers on the field.

The reason is that an international break is approaching, but lower-level soccer doesn't stop. Primera RFEF is outside that calendar, although that complicates life for teams like Castilla. The reason is the 12 absences Arbeloa will have against Racing de Ferrol.

Nine players have been drafted by national teams and three more are currently injured. That will mean the reserve team coach will only have eight outfield players available: David Jiménez, Manu Serrano, Valdepeñas, Lamini, Joan Martínez, Cestero, Manuel Ángel, and Bruno Iglesias.

Real Madrid Castilla has a big problem next matchday

Next Sunday, September 7, Castilla – Racing de Ferrol should be played at 12:00. However, that match is currently in doubt due to the home team's problem. The lack of available players will lead them to request its postponement from RFEF.

The vast majority of players have been drafted by Spain's youth teams. Fran González with the under-21s and Fortea and Yáñez with the under-19s have been drafted. Meanwhile, the under-20s will take Diego Aguado, Rachad Fettal, Thiago Pitarch, Cristian David, and Pol Fortuny.

Finally, Loren Zúñiga has been drafted by the Equatorial Guinea senior national team for this break. To them, you have to add the three injured players: Mario Rivas, De Llanos, and César Palacios. A big problem that leaves Arbeloa's Castilla weakened.
