CENAFE doesn't give up: double request to the Federation to extend the Mastantuono case
The Madridist pursuit continues and CENAFE insists on prolonging the Mastantuono case
The controversy surrounding Europe's top clubs is always present and can't be absent with a team like Real Madrid. In this case, in a surreal way, they're trying to do so with an alleged ineligible line-up that involves the new signing Franco Mastantuono. According to CENAFE President Miguel Galán, an ineligible line-up could be reported if the Argentine plays against Oviedo.
His explanation is quite simple: there can't be a player with the number 30 as part of the first team, as specified. "According to the regulations regarding the contract and the transfer fee, the player belongs to the first team and not the reserves." This way, the Argentine footballer would belong to the first squad and not the youth team as is being suggested, thus wearing the number 30.

Problems with the Argentine
This tactic has already been seen on other occasions with footballers from other teams where there hasn't been any major issue beyond internal matters. However, when it comes to Real Madrid, things are taken to the extreme, and in this case, it's no exception. The arrival of the young player from River Plate has caused quite a bit of controversy around both his name and now his number.
The transfer for the footballer has involved quite high amounts, and this is what's being used as justification to prevent him from being registered with the reserves. This way, wearing the number 30 on his back would create a conflict since it can't be used beyond 25 as a first-team player. Thus, Oviedo could report an ineligible line-up if the player participates under these conditions.

With this in mind, there would be a considerable number of teams that might want to take advantage of this situation to go against Real Madrid. One of the main ones has been Barcelona, which has demanded that the authorities punish the white team unequivocally.
We'll see what happens
It seems that the white team doesn't see it this way, which is why they've been able to make this move and will keep it until they prove otherwise. Clearly, it'll be a war between several clubs against the white team to prevent it from getting its way. Although the Merengue side, mainly Florentino Pérez, will surely have an ace up its sleeve to silence all the detractors.
