Chelsea Target Cole Palmer and Florentino Gives a Surprising Reply: “I Like Him…”

Chelsea has already put a price on Col Palmer to complete his transfer and Florentino has replied

Real Madrid is always on the lookout for young stars who have stood out in the soccer world. In recent years, they have managed to secure transfers such as Endrick, Bellingham and Arda Güler. But they don't seem to be satisfied with that and continue to look for the most promising players.

One of the latest to stand out has been Chelsea player, Cole Palmer, who's been performing well. He is the star of the Blues' resurgence they have had this season. And Florentino was considering to transfer him.

With 11 goals and 6 assists in 15 Premier League games, he has raised a lot of expectations. Chelsea knows this and that's why they have wanted to put a prohibitive price on him for anyone who wants to take him. They don't plan to give their great star up for less than 200 million euros.

Although his market value is 90 million, the Blues believe they could do business with his transfer. They don't want to sell him, but if necessary, they have already set a price. And it seems that this is putting off Florentino, who doesn't want to pay such a large amount.

Florentino has a clear plan to follow to transfer Cole Palmer

Despite Real Madrid's interest in transfer Cole Palmer, Florentino is clear that the plan doesn't involve that kind of money. He would cost more than Mbappé or Bellingham and they don't seem convinced of this. That's why they have withdrawn from the race to secure his services.

“I like him and I think he's a great player, but he's not worth that money. We're ruling him out,” Florentino admitted, according to sources at Valdebebas. He knows that Chelsea won't give in so easily and will lower their price to a more affordable amount.

They already saw this a few summers ago, when Benzema left Real Madrid for Saudi Arabia. At that time they tried to sign Kai Havertz, who was on the market because they needed to sell him. But even then they didn't accept a reasonable transfer price, asking for an exorbitant amount, and he went to Arsenal.
