Confirmed: Xabi Alonso takes a player from Arbeloa, he makes his debut with the team today

Thiago Pitarch is one of the names of the week and of the preseason at Real Madrid. The footballer, who was supposed to play the friendly match for Castilla against Andorra, was drafted by Xabi Alonso. Instead, the young player was present in the preseason clash against CD Leganés, also in Valdebebas.

According to "Defensa Central", Thiago Pitarch came onto the field in the second half and, to everyone's surprise, managed to score a goal. The assist came from Kylian Mbappé. The final score was 4-1, and the other goals were scored by Dean Huijsen, Éder Militao, and Brahim Díaz.

Since it was a preseason match that hadn't even been made official by either club, the match doesn't count as an official debut for the player. However, Thiago Pitarch will never forget this day when he was able to score with the first team thanks to a pass from Kylian Mbappé.

The week for Thiago Pitarch at Real Madrid is proving to be impressive in every way. It also shows that Xabi Alonso trusts him and that the player could have another opportunity in Austria.
