Courtois doesn't hold back and attacks Tebas after LaLiga's mistreatment of Real Madrid
The Madridist goalkeeper gave a very forceful response to the words of LaLiga's President
One of the controversies that has accompanied the Club World Cup throughout its journey is related to Javier Tebas's words. This isn't the first time that LaLiga president has shown his hostility toward the competition organized by FIFA this summer, offering all kinds of arguments against it.
After those comments made over the previous three weeks, Thibaut Courtois has finally offered a desired response. In his flash interview after the heavy defeat against PSG, Real Madrid's Belgian number '1' didn't hold back: "It's always the same with LaLiga", he stated.

Real Madrid's starting goalkeeper decided to speak openly, with absolute sincerity. "Hearing those comments from a president is something I've never seen before", the European goalkeeper declared to DAZN's microphones. The central issue of that response to Javier Tebas was focused, as expected, on the topic of schedules.
"Having only three weeks of rest, and then having to play a good season in 12 months... that's where the difficulty lies", Thibaut Courtois emphasized, recalling the schedule that both he and all his teammates have ahead. In addition to that comment, the Madrid goalkeeper delivered a striking "jab" at LaLiga president.
Forceful message
"Maybe he doesn't want the World Cup, but it exists, we're here, and he must comply with our rest and preparation", Courtois concluded. Real Madrid's goalkeeper reminds Javier Tebas that the Club World Cup has taken place, despite the Spanish executive, and that he must adapt his schedule. "This man wants a lot of attention," the Madrid goalkeeper repeats.
These words from Real Madrid's first-choice goalkeeper are one of the most forceful messages sent from the club to LaLiga president. Now it has been the locker room, in Thibaut Courtois's words, that would have reacted to the refusal to modify the schedule of the first match of the upcoming season.

"I've never seen any president of any organization speak like that," Thibaut Courtois insists, in whose words one can sense a certain weariness. The reality is that Real Madrid has kept one of its most active open fronts with LaLiga for several years. Not only because of the organizational issue regarding the schedule, as shown by the multiple lawsuits involving both entities.
In any case, the white number '1' responds to a Javier Tebas who has constantly attacked the Club World Cup. LaLiga don't see any compelling reasons to postpone the match on August 19, a verdict that would have considerably upset all levels of Real Madrid... as Thibaut Courtois's words have shown.
