Fabrizio Romano announces this defender's departure from Real Madrid, it's imminent

The Italian journalist reports on the latest deal signed by the top-level executives of the white club

Despite its participation in the Club World Cup, Real Madrid hasn't stopped planning for the 25/26 season, the first full campaign under Xabi Alonso. In addition to the signings secured so far, the Merengue executives are also working to consolidate the departures from Santiago Bernabéu locker room.

One of the most notable in this regard features La Fábrica. As happens every summer, some of the most advanced Real Madrid Castilla protégés leave the Spanish capital to join different teams in the European soccer elite. These transfers establish the Madridist youth ranks as one of the best academies in the world.

The latest move recorded at the White club, revealed by Fabrizio Romano, fits into this particular "talent exodus" that the Real Madrid academy experiences periodically. The young center-back Jacobo Ramón, known for his occasional appearances with the first team in the 24/25 season, already has a new team.

After some doubts about his new destination, as well as negotiations between the Italian side and the Merengue squad, Jacobo Ramón is transferred to Como 1907. There, he will join another great footballer developed at La Fábrica: Nico Paz, whose return to Real Madrid has been a persistent rumor during the early stages of the summer transfer window.

Deal closed

Fabrizio Romano states that the transfer is valued at €2.5 million. That is the price the Serie A team would have paid to acquire the former Madridist center-back's registration, although bonuses for his future performance have also been included. The details of this transfer are identical to those governing Nico Paz's future in calcio.

Because Real Madrid has managed to establish a buy-back clause in this agreement with Como 1907. Just as in the case of the talented Argentine attacking midfielder, the executives led by Florentino Pérez will have three "opportunities" to bring back Jacobo Ramón.

This same clause will increase in price as the seasons go by... until it finally expires in the summer of 2028. Real Madrid confirms the departure of a center-back developed in its academy, just as Xabi Alonso approaches the Valdebebas offices to request the addition of another defender.

What happened in the Club World Cup, heavy defeat suffered against PSG in the semifinals, leaves Dean Huijsen as the only certainty for the Basque coach in the heart of the defense. That's why the Merengue executives, while certifying Jacobo Ramón's departure, seem to have focused their attention on Ibrahima Konaté, a Liverpool player.
