Florentino and JAS Have been Warned: Barcelona Makes a Move for a Madrid Target
Desperate attempt by Barça to snatch a Real Madrid transfer
Barcelona keeps trying to strengthen within their possibilities, although looking at the summer market. No arrivals are expected in the Catalan city in January as they have no room. In fact, right now it's uncertain if they can register Dani Olmo in LaLiga.
This forces them to set more achievable goals for the next summer market, with free players. According to reports from Catalonia, one of them is a target they had at Real Madrid. We're referring to Liverpool's right wing, Trent Alexander-Arnold.
It's important to note that Barça has Koundé, a converted central defender, on the right. It's true that at the start of the season he has performed well, but they're looking for a specific player. The Brit could be a good option as he becomes a free agent on June 30th.
Barça would be making a move through Deco, the sporting director of the team. He wants to close a deal as soon as possible, to beat Real Madrid who are fighting to trasnfer him. Florentino and JAS have already been warned about what their eternal rival is going to attempt.
A move to sign that may once again be doomed to failure
The attempt to sign Arnold represents Barça's latest move to bring in a player that Madrid wants. Previous experiences haven't been very satisfactory for the blaugranas. They accumulate failure after failure every time they've attempted a similar move.
Not to mention Alphonso Davies, whose transfer was requested by Flick but they were late in securing it. Something similar happened with Endrick and Arda Güler, targets they also had. However, the truth is they couldn't compete with Real Madrid in any of these cases.
With Alexander-Arnold, they're going to try, but everything points to them being doomed to another failure. The white team has been working on transfer the Liverpool right-back for some time. Bellingham is trying to convince him since he has a great relationship with him, which could be key.
