Florentino's Reply about Arnold and His Defensive Problems: At Madrid

From the white team, they reply to the criticism regarding the winger's defense

The possible transfer of Alexander Arnold by Real Madrid is generating a lot of buzz these days. The arrival of 2025 and the possibility of closing the deal now have increased the news. From England, they're trying to play their last card to retain the winger.

First, it was Gary Neville who criticized Real Madrid for making an offer to Arnold. Then it was another former player like Roy Keane who looked at the winger. Especially after his game against Manchester United where many pointed out his mistakes.

"Trent's defending was terrible today," Keane began saying about Arnold's performance. However, he went further by indicating that "we're talking about him going to Madrid." Although he ironically suggested another destination after his performance: "he'll go to Tranmere Rovers."

Something that the white club considers an attempt to deter their possible transfer. However, according to comments in Valdebebas, the opinion is clear: "At Madrid, we've always had very offensive winers, and they've been the best."Roberto Carlos or Marcelo's  virtues  were in attack.

Real Madrid continues with the planned strategy for the possible transfer of Alexander Arnold

With the arrival of 2025, Real Madrid made a move to try to close the transfer of Alexander Arnold. They made an offer to Liverpool of 20 million for him to arrive in January. However, it seems that possibility is already ruled out as they don't want to sell him now.

However, the whites continue with the planned strategy to secure his arrival for the next season. Since January 1, they can freely negotiate with the player to sign a pre-contract. It's the goal, thus warding off possible threats that might distance him.

It's the same formula they followed with Alaba or Mbappé, although nothing was made official until the end of the season. Once again, the same will happen as it's the club's policy. However, Real Madrid could already have the transfer of Alexander Arnold secured for the 2025-26 season.
