Gonzalo García impresses with his physique after returning from vacation: 'The legs...'

Gonzalo is already making a good impression from the very first day of preseason

Real Madrid had an intense day this Monday, August 4, with the return to work at Valdebebas. After the holidays, the Madridists are starting a shorter preseason than usual. After playing the semifinals of the Club World Cup, they've barely had time to rest.

We've already seen the Madrid footballers undergo medical check-ups to see how they've come back. One of those who has most surprised Madridists is Gonzalo García. The forward has shown that upon his return from vacation, he's still in top shape.

In fact, on social media we've seen comments that show his great form on this first day. "Gonzalo's legs," highlighted Ramón de Mon, pointing out that his muscle tone stands out. Others also pointed out his arm or his body, where it's also clear that he hasn't lost his tone during the holidays.

It's not surprising since Gonzalo is one of the players whose future is still hanging in the air. After his great Club World Cup, he's earned a spot in the first team under Xabi Alonso. The Basque coach seems to be open to that happening.

Endrick or Gonzalo, the big decision they must make

Real Madrid has seen how Gonzalo's breakthrough could have consequences for Endrick. The Brazilian is still injured and his return isn't expected until at least mid-September. That's something that works against him, considering he's competing for a spot.

Some point out that one of the two should leave so both can get playing time. Otherwise, their progress could be stalled since they'll be direct competitors. That's why they're considering what's best for next season.

In any case, a sale isn't on the table and only a loan move is being considered. The Whites don't want to lose either of them since they see a great future ahead for both. Getafe has been very interested in Gonzalo and will wait for him until the end of the transfer window.
