Javier Tebas Responds to Real Madrid and the Club Reacts, It's Going to Get Messy: 'Ya Lo...'

The president of LaLiga didn't hesitate to respond to Real Madrid through social media

Another front opens in LaLiga, and once again, Real Madrid is the leading club. After defeating Villarreal this Saturday with a brace from Kylian Mbappé, Carlo Ancelotti had a strong criticism prepared for the press conference. He didn't hesitate to strongly criticize the competition and its organizers.

"Today is the last time we play a match with less than 72 hours of rest. Never again. We have requested LaLiga to change this match twice and nothing has happened, but this is the last time", began Carlo Ancelotti.

The Italian, visibly angry, considered it a real injustice to have to play so soon after the Champions classic on Wednesday.

Real Madrid Won't Show Up for the Next Match if Conditions Repeat

When asked directly about what the team would do if LaLiga assigned them a match with less than 72 hours, Ancelotti was blunt. "No", the Italian replied with total firmness at the press conference.

Real Madrid issued a direct and public warning to LaLiga. If the conditions repeat once more, the club won't show up for the next match.

Javier Tebas's Response on 'X' to Real Madrid

The response from the president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, was quick and came through 'X'.

"Carlo, I'm sure Emilio has told you that LaLiga had scheduled the match against Leganés for the next round on Saturday at 4:15 PM, to give you more rest before the semifinal against Real Sociedad", he wrote.

"But Emilio asked the director of competitions of LaLiga to change it to 9:00 PM —surely with your knowledge and authorization, I imagine— to benefit the players coming from the FIFA date. And now we have less than 72 hours between the final whistle of Saturday's match and the start of the semifinal on Tuesday! Regards", commented Javier Tebas on 'X'.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid fans have had to explain things once again to Javier Tebas. The match against CD Leganés is played at Santiago Bernabéu. It is a LaLiga match, so before midnight, the match is over and there is no controversy.
