Luis Enrique clarifies if Madrid will sign Pacho or Vitinha: right now...
The recent statements in which Luis Enrique has revealed Real Madrid's chances of signing one of its players
Despite faltering in the Champions League group stage, PSG managed to recover from this and lift the title. A completely unexpected feat that surprised several of Europe's top clubs. Real Madrid, above all, was one of the most intrigued due to the squad the Parisian club currently has.
With several players who managed to reach their full potential, the most outstanding were Willian Pacho and Vitinha. The Ecuadorian and the Portuguese were responsible for keeping the solidity of the backline and the midfield, respectively. Since these are two of the positions Real Madrid is looking to strengthen, the club has shown interest in signing them.
"Right now it's difficult to get a player from Paris. It's normal. Everyone wants our players," said Luis Enrique. With this, the Spanish coach made it clear that, despite Real Madrid's interest, the departures of Pacho and Vitinha are impossible.

Real Madrid's interests
At 25 years old and playing his third season at PSG, Vitinha has managed to establish himself as a great midfielder. Although he had shown flashes in previous seasons, Vitinha finally managed to show his worth this campaign. Playing 4,355 yds. (3,981 m) during the season, Vitinha was the leader of the Parisian midfield.
Willian Pacho played a similar role in PSG's backline, playing 4,587 yds. (4,193 m) as clear proof of his relevance. By keeping the backline solid throughout the campaign, Pacho became one of the best center-backs not only in France but in all of Europe.

With both players under contract until 2029, Luis Enrique was clear in his words to rule out any departure. Even so, with time remaining before the end of the summer transfer window, one shouldn't rule out a move from Real Madrid.
The doors Luis Enrique has closed
Despite the terrible relationship between Real Madrid and PSG, the Merengue club considers Pacho and Vitinha as interesting operations. While there haven't been any approaches or offers yet, Real Madrid could prepare something after the end of the World Cup.
