Mbappé doesn't stay silent: His reaction to the disallowed goal that 'stole' a record from him
The Bondy forward has not been able to extend his scoring streak against Real Mallorca
One of the most outstanding players in matchday 3 of the current league campaign for Real Madrid was KylianMbappé. Although the French forward finished the match without finding the net, he had the opportunity to leave Santiago Bernabéu with a brace. The French player took advantage of those two clear chances, but both goals were disallowed.
Sánchez Martínez's decisions left the first team's "10" without the chance to add two more goals in the race for the Pichichi and the Golden Boot. Those two disallowed goals, which Kylian Mbappé was still reflecting on in the early hours of the morning, have prevented him from continuing a historic record.

Indeed, the Bondy striker, at around 4 a.m. Spanish time, posted on his Instagram stories the 3D recreation of the first offside. With no text at all, the Madridist's silence says nothing and everything at the same time. The lines show that the white forward is in an offside position by just a few millimeters (mm), with both his shoulder and his head marked as points of contact.
It's clear that not everyone shares the referees' point of view in Real Madrid-Real Mallorca. Kylian Mbappé has made it clear through his social media. The leader of the current sports project, having not found the net in this matchday, must start from scratch in the pursuit of a historic record.
So close yet so far
Indeed, he was very close to matching the record of ten consecutive league matches scoring a goal. This record, achieved by Cristiano Ronaldo during the 14/15 season, at least for now, seems like another challenge for Kylian Mbappé. Before this match against Real Mallorca, the Bondy striker had scored in seven matches in LaLiga.
With that impressive figure, he had already matched the record of another legendary Madridist striker, who is directly placed in the club's hall of legends: Ferenc Puskás. But matching "Cañoncito Pum's" record is not enough for a footballer who knows he is the team's leader... whose position is confirmed by the coaching staff's decisions both on and off the field.

Despite Kylian Mbappé'sdisagreement with the two disallowed goals during Real Madrid-Real Mallorca, the French "10" knows he has many more matches to make it happen. Indeed, Cristiano Ronaldo managed to score in ten consecutive league matches in the middle of the 14/15 campaign: between matchday 3 and matchday 12, the former "7" scored 19 goals.
Kylian Mbappé's most immediate challenge is to surpass both records. The match against Real Mallorca was intended to advance toward that personal goal, but now he will have to start from scratch, right after the upcoming September international break. The visit to Reale Arena, scheduled for Saturday the 13th, is the perfect opportunity for that.
