Neither Ancelotti nor Rodrygo, This Player Has One Foot Out of Madrid After the Final

Lunin is very disappointed after being benched in the Copa del Rey final and is listening to offers to leave

Andriy Lunin's Future at Real Madrid Is More Uncertain Than Ever. The Ukrainian goalkeeper, who has had a good season when given opportunities, seems determined to seek a change of scenery this summer.

Jorge Mendes, his agent, has already met with the club. On the table, several offers from Europe. All with the same goal:to offer him the starting position he doesn't have in Madrid.

The Copa Final, the Breaking Point

Lunin had been the starter throughout the Copa del Rey. But in the final, Carlo Ancelotti opted for Thibaut Courtois.

That decision, according to sources close to the player, was a hard blow to take. He felt that the club didn't fully trust him for important matches.

That final marked a turning point. Since then, the Ukrainian has decided to seriously consider the proposals that have come for him.

Galatasaray, the Most Interested

Several European clubs are closely following Lunin's situation. However, the one that has moved the most is Galatasaray. The Turkish team wants to make him their starting goalkeeper and is willing to present a formal offer to Real Madrid in the coming weeks.

The club, meanwhile, is open to selling if the proposal is satisfactory. Lunin has a contract, but they don't want to keep a player who is seeking minutes and prominence.

Meanwhile, in the offices of Valdebebas, they are already working on the future of the goalkeeping position. Thibaut Courtois is going to renew for two more seasons. The Belgian, fully recovered, will continue to be the number one between the posts.

To replace Lunin, Florentino Pérez is considering Kepa Arrizabalaga. The Basque goalkeeper is currently on loan at Bournemouth, after not being considered at Chelsea. The English team doesn't have a purchase option, and the 'blues' won't hinder his permanent departure.

At Madrid, they see him as a reliable, economical option familiar with the locker room. He already played last season on loan and has the backing of the coaching staff.

With Courtois renewed and Kepa on the radar, Lunin seems to have his days numbered at Real Madrid. His departure, after the disappointment in the Copa final, could be one of the first operations of the summer market. Galatasaray is already prepared to take him.
