The great attitude Kylian Mbappé showed toward a Ukrainian fan before the match between France and Ukraine
One of Real Madrid's stars who was drafted by his national team is Kylian Mbappé. Before his first match of this international break, the Frenchman met a Ukrainian boy who is his fan. "My son said that Ukraine will win tomorrow, but he supports Kylian and Real Madrid" were the words of his father before he greeted his son.
Shaking the boy's hand, Mbappé spoke a few words to him and gave him a smile before leaving to rejoin the French squad. According to Defensa Central, the forward agreed to meet the boy and his father again at Santiago Bernabéu. This act shows, once again, what a great person the French forward is.
Despite his status as one of the best players in the world, this hasn't changed the player at all. Kylian Mbappé is still the same simple and humble person everyone has known since the beginning of his career. Even when the boy made it clear that he hoped France would lose, Mbappé didn't lose his composure and simply chose to be kind.
A great example to follow
At 26 years old (26 años), Kylian Mbappé has spent several seasons in the public eye for his actions both on and off the field. While he plays as a completely lethal forward who doesn't forgive mistakes, his attitude changes when he's not playing a match. This was shown by the gesture he had with the Ukrainian boy.
He could've refused the greeting or walked away after the boy wished for Ukraine to win, but Mbappé didn't do so. Instead, the Frenchman had an attitude the boy will never forget. Both he and his father left with a big smile, clearly grateful for the great attitude they received from Kylian Mbappé.
The player, meanwhile, left to focus on the match against Ukraine, which he ended up winning. With a score of 2-0, the French national team took a big step toward qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. While Mbappé didn't let the boy see the Ukrainian team win, at least he gave him a nice gesture when they met.
The true side of Mbappé
Despite everything that can be said about Mbappé, the reality is that the Frenchman is an excellent person off the field. His star status has never kept him from being in touch with his fans and spending time with them. Knowing that his greeting is a dream for many, Mbappé is a great example for the rest of the players.
