The boy from La Fábrica who has little to envy Mastantuono, stunning goal

This young prospect's performance shows the quality of Madridist youth academy players

Real Madrid's activity during the international break is generating a lot of discussion. Not only because of the decisions made regarding the first team, but also due to what has happened with several of the club's reserve teams. One of the most notable is Juvenil B, which is participating in the Club World Cup.

This competition, which follows the format of the tournament organized by FIFA for senior categories during June and July, has highlighted the renewed reserve team. Especially one of the players who has made an impression at levels immediately above Juvenil B itself.

The name Bryan Bugarín was already known to the coaches at La Fábrica. Even Álvaro Arbeloa approached this talented midfielder during his last campaign as coach of Juvenil A. However, "el Espartano" didn't have time to complete his adaptation to the former reserve team he managed, given his move to become the head coach of Real Madrid Castilla.

Nevertheless, Bryan Bugarín continues to stand out as one of the must-watch academy players at Real Madrid. The match between the youth teams of River Plate and Real Madrid ended with the Madrid side as the winner, with a score of 0-2. Bugarín contributed to that comfortable result with a spectacular direct free kick goal.

Highly watched

The execution of the shot has amazed everyone closely following this Club World Cup for youth categories. Especially because of the similarity it has with one of the most memorable goals by Franco Mastantuono, who left River Plate less than two months ago to join Real Madrid.

Both shots, taken with the left foot, end up in the same side of the opposing goal. While Mastantuono's shot, which happened in the Superclásico against Boca Juniors, was from a considerable distance from "Chiquito" Romero's goal, Bugarín faced a very different challenge.

This is because the spot where the foul was committed was very close to the edge of the penalty area. In this case, the objective was to get the ball over the wall and beat the agile Millonario goalkeeper: Bryan Bugarín's shot, quick and with an unbelievable curve, went into the top corner. This is the latest display of prominence from an academy player whose progress at La Fábrica is proving to be meteoric.

It's no coincidence that Álvaro Arbeloa himself, before "moving up" to Real Madrid Castilla, considered adding him to his squad. This change for the former right back has postponed the category change for Bryan Bugarín, a promotion the player continues to earn with his performances on the field.
