Official: leaves Real Madrid after Carreras's signing for another LaLiga team

Álvaro Carreras has joined Real Madrid to strengthen the left flank of Xabi Alonso's team. The Galician becomes the fourth addition to the white club for the 2025/2026 season. Florentino gave the green light to pay 50 million euros for him, and the reality is that this figure has sparked controversy.

Thus, a youth academy player is arriving. He returns to what was once his home, and he does so with the goal of performing at the highest level. Without a doubt, this stage, which will begin in less than a month, is going to be the most important of his sporting career. 

The one leaving is Yousse Enríquez, better known as Yusi. The Moroccan is leaving the club he has been with since 2017. He spent this last season with Castilla, but he doesn't have a place in Xabi Alonso's squad. 

His destination will be SD Alavés, and he has signed until 2029. However, as confirmed by colleagues from Defensa Central, the agreement is good from a Madridist perspective. The Merengue side receives 3 million euros for 50% of his rights and keeps a buy-back option for the next two seasons. 

Meanwhile, he hasn't taken long to say goodbye to the club that has given him the best moments in his sporting life so far. 

There is still a transfer window ahead

Authorized voices at Real Madrid insist that there is still a significant transfer window ahead. They don't rule anything out and state that there is room for surprises, both in terms of arrivals and departures. 

The most talked-about name is Rodrygo Goes. The Brazilian is on the market, although his options for starting a new chapter in his career are becoming fewer. The Arsenal option, which was the most viable, has completely cooled after they shifted their focus to other strikers.

The only clear thing as of today, July 17, is that for any new addition to happen, there first has to be a "goodbye".
