PSG wants Real Madrid to pay the price for the World Cup by taking away one of its stars

PSG doesn't accept defeat in the final and wants to get back at Madrid with a stolen signing

Paris Saint-Germain seemed to be the clear favorite to win the Club World Cup final and ended up being surprised by everyone against Chelsea. The London side dominated the Parisian club with a 3-0 final score. Now it seems they want to get back at Real Madrid after that semifinal, in a similar way, by taking Konaté away from them.

According to what Defensa Central has learned, the French side is now also very interested in signing this footballer. With a contract tying him to his club until 2026, things could be much easier for any club wanting to sign him nowadays.

Although the white team had hoped to hold out until next year to sign him for free, the reality is that this doesn't seem likely to happen. Liverpool doesn't want to make a mistake like the one it had with Alexander-Arnold and, for that reason, they will act as soon as possible to sell him.

Psg gets involved once again

This isn't the first time Paris Saint-Germain has stuck its nose into a possible and strategic signing for Real Madrid. In this case, after losing the final in such a painful way, they want to strengthen the defense with a footballer for several years to come.

At 26 years old, this player has established himself not only as a key piece for Liverpool but also as one of the world's top defenders. Clearly, both teams are looking for this profile, but Real Madrid has a slightly more pressing need.

The idea would be to try to sign him, and if it's true that his value is around €60 million, this could drop considerably. That's why Florentino, if he really wants to compete for the player's signing, will have to step in as soon as possible.

An ongoing dispute

Signing this star could be one of the most important pieces for Madrid next season because of his qualities. Especially considering that last season he posted unbelievable numbers, reaching over 3,300 min. (3,300 minutes) in 42 matches.
