Bombshell: Real Madrid misses out on signing the new Kroos when it was all but done

Everything was set, but at the last moment Real Madrid's signing falls through

Real Madrid has quickly done its homework in the market and has already signed 4 players this summer. Huijsen, Trent, Carreras, and Mastantuono are the new faces of the white team. However, it still had some important matters to address for next season.

One of them was the signing of Ouazane as a new player who would join Castilla. Everything was set with the 16-year-old gem who was coming from Ajax. However, in the end, it's a deal that won't happen even though it was about to be completed.

According to Ramón de Mon, "unfortunately, I'm told that the signing of Ouazane has fallen through. In the steps prior to the signing, something happened," he posted in a message on Twitter. At Defensa Central, we've confirmed that everything is on hold, although the reasons remain unclear.

Some sources indicate that he may not have passed the medical examination, but it's not official yet. Real Madrid is left without a reinforcement for Castilla who was going to be important. He was one of the Moroccan jewels who had attracted the most attention in Europe.

Real Madrid loses a great signing that was already closed

At Real Madrid, they were convinced that Ouazane was a signing of great importance. They saw him as a long-term addition who could already deliver results. Above all, because he was going to be a key piece for Arbeloa in his debut with Castilla.

The idea was for him to undergo the medical examination at Valdebebas this week to sign his contract. But Ramón warns that "unfortunately, something hasn't gone well and I don't want to go into too many details. Something hasn't gone well in those tests and I'm afraid the signing is falling through and it won't happen."

He was a midfielder, whom many compared to Kroos for his ability to organize the game. However, the greatest similarity was found with Bellingham due to his physical attributes. Now it seems that it's a signing that won't happen unless there's a major surprise.
