Real Madrid and Como are already negotiating for Nico Paz
The Whites remain closely alert to the Argentine after Tottenham's latest offer
In recent hours, Como President Mirwan Suwarso gave an interview to the Corriere della Sera in which he spoke about the situation of Nico Paz, a youth product of Real Madrid. Among the topics discussed, the future of the Argentine attacking midfielder, who is 20 years old, stood out, as he remains on the club's radar. Real Madrid still keeps 50% of his rights and could bring him back next year for a fee lower than €10 million.
After the latest offer from Tottenham for Nico Paz that has echoed throughout Europe, Como's President was forced to speak. "The transfer rumors about Tottenham? It's not true that we rejected the offer", he commented. "No one makes offers for Nico Paz knowing that then we'd have to send them to Real Madrid, which has the right to match them", the President pointed out.

Meanwhile, Como's President highlighted that there was some fear in the club about a possible buy-back option from Real Madrid. "There was a moment when we feared that Nico would return to Madrid: he grew up in Real Madrid's youth academy and dreams of playing one day at Bernabéu. Luckily, he stayed", he stated.
Nico Paz wants to stay one more year in Italy
The future of Nico Paz is trending and there is speculation about his possible departure from Como, but the Argentine has his plans set. His intention is to continue in Italy to arrive in optimal condition at Real Madrid for the 2026/27 campaign. He also dreams of playing in the World Cup next summer and earning a spot in the starting eleven for Argentina's national team.
"Nico Paz wants to arrive at Madrid with as many stripes as possible and after having played in the World Cup. The player believes that the best thing for him is to be at Como this year", Ramón de Mon declared on his 'X' account.

This way, everything indicates that it is unlikely that Nico Paz will leave Como to sign for Tottenham, since Real Madrid doesn't consider that possibility. In fact, barring any unforeseen events, the club has already informed the player that it is counting on him for next season if he keeps his level. Moreover, Florentino Pérez keeps continuous contact with the Italian side to closely follow his situation and development.
