Real Madrid prioritizes Endrick, Ramón de Mon announces the reason why he is staying

Endrick's stay at Real Madrid has been explained by Ramón de Mon

Since Gonzalo García's breakthrough in the Club World Cup, doubts about Endrick's future haven't stopped. Some rumors pointed to a departure this summer, but that operation ultimately won't take place. Ramón Álvarez de Mon, a contributor to the YouTube channel of Defensa Central, has revealed that the reason is because he's a UEFA homegrown player.

Ramón de Mon himself explains that Real Madrid always seeks to keep its young players for 3 seasons. This is because, for foreign players, once they meet this requirement, UEFA considers them homegrown. This role is a great support for the lists Real Madrid prepares for each Champions League match.

Vinicius Júnior, Rodrygo Goes, and Fede Valverde are considered homegrown by UEFA. That's why Endrick, despite doubts about his future, will stay at Real Madrid. Moreover, despite Gonzalo's level, the club never considered the departure of the young Brazilian.

The important reason for Real Madrid

Arriving at Real Madrid last summer, Endrick has managed to show flashes of his talent. His time at Palmeiras proved how lethal he can be every time he faces the opposing goal. Although Endrick didn't get to play many minutes, he made the most of every opportunity he was given.

7 goals and 1 assist in less than 900 minutes (900 minutos) played is a great record.  Although several clubs showed interest in his transfer, Real Madrid isn't looking for his departure. With a contract until 2030, Endrick is a player with a great future within the team.

Being considered homegrown by UEFA would be a great help for Real Madrid. For Champions matches, the club's squad list could be broader. Support in case Mbappé or Gonzalo can't play a match.

Endrick came to stay

After his debut season, Endrick is ready to keep showing his worth at Real Madrid. The Brazilian forward's dream is to make history with the Merengue team. A goal that, given the trust he receives from the club, he may end up achieving.
