Real Madrid's Reply if the Big Offer for Vinícius is Confirmed: 'Let Them Pay...'
The white executives have no doubts about how to solve the 'case' surrounding the Brazilian player
Saudi Arabia will try, in the 2025 summer, to secure the services of Vinícius Jr. Most media outlets in our country point to a total multi-million offer, exceeding 1 billion euros, aimed at forcing a team change.
In the Valdebebas offices, they've never had doubts. They will retain Vinícius on the team because they have the player's approval in that regard: the forward hasn't indicated that he wants to leave Santiago Bernabéu behind.
Madrid's very firm and direct refusal to sell Vinícius is based on the shared future that both parties have ahead in the coming years. The contract of the '7' in white has an expiration date set in 2027. A limit that the executives led by Florentino Pérez intend to extend this very summer with the greatest possible determination.
But everything can change until the end of the current soccer season. In that sense, the information from the newspaper As reveals Madrid's programmed roadmap in case Vinícius requests his departure from the Meringue team.
Everything clarified
The aforementioned media outlet reveals that, despite his very privileged place in the sports project, Real Madrid won't hinder his departure if he requests it. Vinícius Jr.'s objective, in this case, would be a considerable improvement in his salary conditions. Regardless of the nature of that search for better conditions, the white club will give the green light to the departure of the center-forward.
Such a decision, while it'll certainly cause an impact on Madrid, is consistent with the resolution of other similar 'cases' in the club's recent past. The example of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, who also left the club in search of higher salaries than those offered in their renewal, are reference to follow.
That's why from the white leadership they warn all offers of Vinícius: "pay what he's worth" while he's part of the sports discipline by virtue of his contract. The limit of that challenge is in the 2027 summer, but until then those interested in signing him will have to pay a release clause of 1 billion to sign Vinícius.
If the South American player decides not to extend his stay in Bernabéu locker room, Florentino will understand that Vinícius wishes to leave Real Madrid. In that context, the white club's stance will remain, allowing his departure as a free agent in two and a half years... if a fair offer doesn't arrive before the summer of 2027.
