Real Madrid's response to Trent's departure in January is official
Sources in England report that Arnold could leave Real Madrid in the winter transfer window
Everything pointed to Real Madrid having a more or less calm end to the transfer window, although there were still some questions to be solved. However, it seems that everyone is agreeing to make the last few days very hectic at Valdebebas.
In this case, we are not referring to the situation with Dani Ceballos, which is also making plenty of headlines. However, from England, they are insisting on reporting that Trent Alexander-Arnold could leave Real Madrid in the next winter transfer window. If that were the case, the former Liverpool footballer would have spent just six or seven months at the white club.

According to information reported by "CaughtOffside", Trent Alexander-Arnold's destination would not be Liverpool, since the "reds" signed Frimpong. Instead, Manchester City, which still hasn't found its ideal man for that position. Pep Guardiola knows the footballer is more than adapted to English soccer and that, with him, he could shine quite a lot as a full-back or midfielder.
Real Madrid takes action
The rumors have reached Real Madrid's offices. From the club, without mincing words, they have wanted to make it clear that this is all just smoke and that Trent Alexander-Arnold is not going to leave. In fact, Florentino Pérez and his inner circle trust the Englishman and believe he will be a key piece in the team's present and future.
Trent Alexander-Arnold had spent his whole life at Liverpool and decided to make a change to play for Real Madrid. Being a world-class player doesn't mean he doesn't need an adaptation period that could take more or less time. Nevertheless, the club understands these circumstances, they know this is his first year and that everything will come in due time.

As of today, Dani Carvajal has returned from his injury at a very high level, so Xabi Alonso will have to decide. That doesn't mean Arnold will not get minutes. Real Madrid chose his services because they consider him the successor to the Spaniard on the right flank, and that remains the case.
