The Remaining Schedule for Real Madrid and Barça: The Fight for LaLiga Is Still Alive
Both have seven matchdays ahead with the Clásico in Barcelona still pending
The 31st matchday of LaLiga concluded for Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. Both clubs secured two hard-fought victories away from home, so the four-point advantage remains. The Catalan team defeated CD Leganés (0-1), while the Madridists also won by the minimum against Alavés (0-1).
With only seven matchdays left until the end of the 2024/25 season, LaLiga enters its decisive phase. With the margin for error reduced to a minimum, each matchday can be crucial. Below, we review the possible scenarios in the title race with that Clásico on May 11 marked in red.

What Does Real Madrid Have Left Until the Last Matchday?
Real Madrid has four matches left at the Santiago Bernabéu and three others away from Chamartín. The next league test will be against Athletic Club, and three days later, the Whites will play in Getafe.
After the Copa del Rey final (April 26), Celta de Vigo will visit Santiago Bernabéu in the matchday before the Clásico. On May 11, Real Madrid will travel to the Ciudad Condal to face Barça on a date that could be decisive.
From there, Real Madrid will host RCD Mallorca, travel to Sánchez-Pizjuán, and close LaLiga at the Bernabéu against Real Sociedad. It is worth noting that the Whites could face the last five matchdays of LaLiga without competitions in between if they are eliminated from the Champions.
What Is FC Barcelona's Schedule?
Meanwhile, Barça will host Celta de Vigo and Mallorca at Montjuïc in the next two LaLiga matchdays. After playing the Copa final, the Catalan team will travel to Valladolid in the matchday before the Clásico against Real Madrid.

The last three matchdays for the blaugrana team will be against RCD Espanyol at the RCDE Stadium, Villarreal at home, and Athletic at San Mamés. Undoubtedly, three quite challenging matches where Barça could suffer a setback.
It is worth noting that, barring a major surprise, Barça will face two more Champions matches in between. Additionally, the difference with Madrid is four points, but in the case of a tie, the Catalan team has the 'goal average' won.
