Reveal Davies's Million-Dollar Salary at Bayern, That's Why He Didn't Sign for Madrid
This is how the Bavarian team managed to convince the full-back not to go to Real Madrid
Real Madrid had been pursuing the signing of Alphonso Davies for the next season for months. Last summer they had an agreement with the Canadian full-back to join Bernabéu. The fact that Bayern didn't want to negotiate delayed everything until 2025.
However, the situation gradually changed until his arrival was finally ruled out. Real Madrid saw how Davies went from wanting to leave to renewing with Bayern Munich. A change that left them without their signing even though everything seemed quite tied up.

In fact, Davies had rejected lucrative renewal offers that had been presented to him. But the change of mind came with a millionaire salary that was put forward. Now the amount with which the Bavarian club managed to convince the Canadian full-back has come to light.
It was the German newspaper Bild that pointed out the amounts included in Davies's new contract. They made a great effort to convince him not to leave. This involved a gross salary ranging between 15 and 20 million euros per year.
Money Was Key to Convincing Davies to Renew with Bayern
If there was something that ultimately convinced Davies, it was the money offered to him for renewing. Not only because of the salary we have already mentioned, but he also signed a bonus of 22 million euros. In addition to other variables that can give him much more.

If he is included in the FIFA 11, he will receive 500,000, and if he wins the Champions League or the Ballon d'Or, another 2 million more. Very lucrative amounts that ultimately convinced him to stay in Munich. Meanwhile, besides Real Madrid, there was also interest in him from the Premier League.
In fact, it ended up being crucial, but the decision not to join the white team was made earlier. Although he didn't completely close the door, he didn't like that they didn't sign him last summer. He thought they should have negotiated with Bayern even though they didn't want to do so.
