Barça Loses Its Star: RFEF and LaLiga Speak out on the Olmo Case

Joan Laporta and all of Barcelona have once again signed another historic embarrassment

Barcelona's faced a new failure in recent hours, as LaLiga and the RFEF have turned their backs on them.

This, as expected, has left Joan Laporta on the ropes, who's made a fool of himself once again.

A lot of noise was made in recent days about Dani Olmo's registration, but both entities have been very clear.

The RFEF and LaLiga met this morning and defined this controversial case that, as expected, had Spanish soccer on edge.

Joan Laporta, who's a specialist in selling humor and telling lies, conveyed alleged optimism throughout Friday, however, now he's faced a reality check.

The famous 1:1

Much has been said about the 1:1, as this would allow new players to be registered in Hansi Flick's team, but doesn't apply to Olmo.

The problem with the Spanish, just like with Pau Víctor, is that both registration requests were made out of time, something that LaLiga and the RFEF have confirmed.

"Having been requested the licenses for the referred players by Barcelona and after analysis of the applicable federative regulations, the Monitoring Commission agrees not to grant the prior visa nor the definitive license requested by the club for players D. Daniel Olmo Carvajal and D. Pau Víctor Delgado according to the literal interpretation of articles 130.2 and 141.5 of the RFEF General Regulations that prevent a player whose license is canceled from obtaining a license in the same team of the club to which they were already linked during the same season," both entities expressed.
