The footballers who've worn Real Madrid and Bayern Munich's jersey
Several footballers have worn the colors of both clubs
Talking about Real Madrid and Bayern Munich means talking about two of the top five clubs in soccer history. While the white team is the top winner both in Spain and Europe, the Bavarian side reigns firmly in Germany, in addition to having 6 Champions titles.
Over the years, quite a few players have worn the jerseys of both teams. In recent months, there was talk about the possible arrival of Alphonso Davies, so the list could have grown. However, the Canadian full-back decided to renew with München and Real Madrid opted to sign Álvaro Carreras.
Below, we present the players who have had the great privilege of wearing the jerseys of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

The first to play for Real Madrid and Bayern
The first to do so was Paul Breitner, who left Bayern Munich to sign for Real Madrid. He played 100 matches and scored 10 goals during his time as a Madridist. He won two Leagues and one Cup in Spain and later ended up returning to the Bavarian side to retire.
Another who played for both teams was the Brazilian Zé Roberto. Real Madrid signed him, but he didn't manage to succeed at the white club, so he decided to leave for Germany. At Bayer Leverkusen he made a name for himself and ended up playing for Bayern Munich for six seasons in two different spells.
Arjen Robben is another of the best-known examples. The Dutchman arrived at Real Madrid in 2007, but injuries didn't allow him to succeed at Bernabéu. In a transitional summer, the club transferred him for €25 million, and the rest is history.
At Bayern Munich, Arjen Robben reached his best footballing level. He played nine seasons and won absolutely everything. With Real Madrid he lifted one League and one Spanish Super Cup.
Before moving on to the most recent footballers, it's also worth highlighting Hamit Altintop. The Turk arrived at Real Madrid on a free transfer in 2011 after playing four seasons at Allianz Arena. He suffered many injuries, played 12 matches, won an unforgettable League, and left for Türkiye.
The most recent signings
Coming from Bayern Munich, a player arrived who completely changed Real Madrid's history. In 2014, for €25 million, the Madridist team secured the services of Toni Kroos. 450 matches, five Champions League titles with the whites, and countless memories for Madridists.
We must not forget Álvaro Odriozola, who was not successful at either Real Madrid or Bayern. He arrived in Germany on loan, but he didn't have continuity.
James Rodríguez also wore both jerseys. The Colombian arrived at Real Madrid after his great World Cup in 2014. He started well, but he didn't manage to show his highest level, so he opted for a loan to Bayern Munich.

After completing the two-year loan, James Rodríguez returned to Real Madrid without Bayern exercising the purchase option. The Madridist team also parted ways with him.
Finally, David Alaba is the only player left in the Madridist squad who has worn the Bavarian colors. The Austrian won everything in Germany and at Real Madrid as well. Now, the footballer is still trying to find his place after a serious injury.
Three shared coaches
The first on the list is Jupp Heynckes. He won the seventh European Cup with Real Madrid and had four spells in charge of Bayern, with which he won the Champions in 2013. More than 400 matches managed for both clubs.
CarloAncelotti also appears, one of the greatest legends of Real Madrid. With Bayern he won a Bundesliga and a Super Cup, but with the white club he made history. He's the only coach with 4 Champions League titles.

Finally, Carlo Ancelotti's replacement on the Real Madrid bench also wore Bayern's colors.Xabi Alonso arrived at Bernabéu in 2009 and won everything in Spain. However, in the summer of 2014 he surprised everyone with his move to Allianz Arena.
He hung up his boots after three seasons at Bayern Munich and began his coaching career. Now, after making history at Leverkusen, Xabi Alonso continues to display his great skills as a coach at Real Madrid.
