UEFA Turns Its Back on Mbappé: PSG Confesses about the 55 Millions
PSG acknowledges the conflict with Mbappé and the salary they owe him
The soap opera between Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain hasn't been solved yet. The player demands the 55.4 million euros agreed upon in his 2022 renewal, but the Parisian club disagrees. They claim the player committed to forgiving them.
PSG has sent its accounts to UEFA and included the 55.4 million euros net owed to Kylian Mbappé. To avoid sanctions, they had to indicate that amount as pending payment. This was reported in L'Équipe.
Kylian Mbappé is very calm because the LFP's legal commission has already sided with him, and the joint commission had the same verdict. He's confident he's right, and PSG will have to pay him that amount.
They keep fighting
Despite all this, Paris Saint-Germain has ignored it and filed an appeal with a Paris court. They believe the other two bodies don't have the legal authority to rule on the conflict.
At this moment, UEFA can't sanction them because they're waiting for the Paris court's ruling. They could only do so if PSG hadn't included those 55.4 million in their accounts. The Parisian club has been alert and acted wisely to avoid conflicts.
Much calm
Kylian Mbappé and his entourage are very optimistic about the situation. They believe justice will ultimately side with them, and they will receive the payment. PSG is also leaking the same calmness as the player. For that reason, they won't give up yet.
Right now, the French forward is focused solely on Real Madrid. He wants to isolate himself from all the external noise and focus on performing his best with the white team. He already has 18 goals and 4 assists, and his performance is improving as the matches go by.
The best is yet to come for Kylian Mbappé and Real Madrid. He's already adapted to the team and is hungry for titles. The tough defeat against Barça in the Super Cup has given him more strength to keep fighting.
