Vinícius, angry with a teammate, Ancelotti and Lucas had to intervene

The Brazilian forward argued on the field with a player from his own team.

Real Madrid's defeat against RCD Espanyol continues to generate quite a bit of controversy. The match was marked by the controversy over referee Muñiz Ruiz's performance and the lack of intervention by Iglesias Villanueva in the VAR.

However, Carlo Ancelotti's team also didn't leave a good impression with their performance on the field. Vinícius scored a goal that was disallowed by the referee due to a foul by Kylian Mbappé on a defender. The Brazilian showed signs of frustration, even with his own teammates during the match, and one of those who angered him the most was Dani Ceballos.

Vinícius and his notable outburst toward Dani Ceballos

Dani Ceballos played 80 minutes, but his performance, unlike previous matches, didn't seem to convince the Madrid expedition. A clear sign of this was Carlo Ancelotti's frustration from the sidelines, while Vinícius complained about not receiving the ball.

According to 'El Día Después' on X, Real Madrid's '7' showed his anger with his teammate Dani Ceballos. The player, during the match against RCD Espanyol, often looked constantly toward the other side, instead of looking for him with the ball.

"Pass it to Vini," Carlo Ancelotti shouted from the technical area. The Italian was exasperated, but he asked Vinícius to stay calm. Carletto, on several occasions, asked Dani Ceballos to shift the play to the left flank, but the idea wasn't clear.

Fran García was also a target of Vinícius's anger, who reacted with irritation while the full-back replied with a timid "okay, okay."

Lucas Vázquez had to calm the situation

Lucas Vázquez, in his role as captain, tried to calm the situation, approaching Vinícius and speaking to him in his ear. "Focus. We need to start playing," the Galician full-back told him to calm him down and focus on the game.

In the video in question, Vinícius can be seen pointing to the ground near his feet, clearly indicating where he wanted to receive the ball. He even allowed himself to scold Dani Ceballos in a play where the player from Utrera did give him the ball.

However, there's no need to read too much into these types of videos. It's clear that a lot of tension accumulates on the field when things aren't going well. This kind of thing happens to Vinícius and many other great footballers.
