Cristóbal Soria goes too far with a vile attack on Xabi Alonso: 'Handsome…'
The Seville panelist took advantage of the white team's defeat to unleash comments he had prepared
Real Madrid's defeat against PSG in the Club World Cup semifinals is sparking all kinds of reactions. One of the most notable, clearly in favor of what happened at MetLife Stadium between both elite teams, is led by Cristóbal Soria, panelist on "El Chiringuito de Jugones".
The Sevilla fan commentator, always close to FC Barcelona's positions and opposed to Real Madrid, couldn't hold back his laughter. The decisiveness with which Xabi Alonso's players were defeated in the United States was a source of amusement for the former field delegate of the Andalusian team.

"By the way, starting today you can already call it Mundialito", said Cristóbal Soria in a video posted on his social media. The panelist suggests that the competition organized by FIFA is losing its importance for many now that Real Madrid is no longer participating. Nothing could be further from the truth, considering the reactions offered by the Madrid footballers at the end of the match.
"Before, by white imperative, you had to call it Club World Cup, but from today you can call it Mundialito". Cristóbal Soria continues to take advantage of the thrashing suffered by Real Madrid, speaking about its coach: "I love Xabi Alonso, the little beard, how the clothes fit him, the Armani suits, certified... No one can be more elegant than Xabi Alonso", the panelist admits, perhaps showing a bit of envy.
Out of control
Those supposed compliments from Cristóbal Soria to the newly arrived manager from Tolosa, now responsible for leading the change in the current Madrid sports project, end with another mockery. "But as a coach, the curtain comes down, the curtain comes down", says the Sevilla panelist, who bursts out laughing once again.
After several more seconds of laughter, the Spanish commentator blows a kiss to the camera. "Best wishes, goodbye, goodbye," he says, cutting the video. With those words, he concludes a message that takes advantage of the unexpected Madrid debacle to point at Xabi Alonso in his first major challenge as Real Madrid's coach since he arrived.

Despite these taunts led by Cristóbal Soria, the mood in the Madrid coaching staff is very different from what might be expected after a defeat of this magnitude. In fact, Xabi Alonso himself pointed out that this match at MetLife Stadium serves to learn and correct mistakes that hadn't arisen until now.
Madrid supporters, although disappointed and hurt by how the run in the Club World Cup has ended, are now expectant. They know that Xabi Alonso's era has just begun and it's too soon to draw conclusions and results from a competition that was prepared in just two weeks (2 semanas).
