Ancelotti's Final Decision: Mbappé K.O. and Bellingham Too, It Won't Happen Again

After what happened in Valencia, Carlo Ancelotti has already chosen the penalty taker at Real Madrid

The problem of missed penalties reappears at Real Madrid. After the two that Kylian Mbappé missed against Liverpool and Athletic Club, Jude Bellingham also missed his against Valencia at Mestalla.

The Englishman took on the responsibility of taking the penalty that César Tárrega committed on Kylian Mbappé. However, the Englishman, who had scored his last penalty against Getafe CF, hit the ball against the post of Dimitrievski's goal. Thus, Real Madrid has missed a total of three penalties so far: two by the French attacker and one by Jude Bellingham.

Bellingham also loses his spot

The Brit had already made it very clear that he wanted to enter the penalty rotation after his goal from the spot against Getafe. All this with Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius on the field. He demonstrated it against Valencia, taking the shot, but the shot didn't end up hitting the net.

Despite the miss, Bellingham was able to show once again how good he is. The Englishman passed the ball to Luka Modric for the equalizing goal and, by halftime, sealed the deal against Valencia. A goal that put Real Madrid at the top of LaLiga after a game that was too challenging.

Ancelotti has his decision very clear

However, the decision on penalties is more than clear. Carlo Ancelotti established that he would choose the taker before the matches, although, according to MARCA, Vinícius is the key name.

The fact is that it hasn't been Madrid's season from the penalty spot, and it's been quite a headache for Ancelotti. The circumstance is that these three misses by Madrid from the penalty spot have all come under the same condition: with the score against them.

For this very reason, Carlo Ancelotti has decided in the last few hours that the taker will be Vinícius. The Brazilian, who hasn't missed a penalty this season, will be the one to take them from now on. When he's not on the field, the coach will choose between Kylian Mbappé or Jude Bellingham.
