Gonzalo Miró and Tomás Guasch, head-to-head, slam Tebas over LaLiga's schedules

Both teammates criticize LaLiga's president: they couldn't be more right

Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, keeps insisting that Real Madrid - CA Osasuna shouldn't be postponed because he believes there are no reasons for it.

"We've already given our opinion, which is that there are enough days to recover, for the rest required by the collective agreement. The problem isn't created by the league, it's created by a competition like the Club World Cup, which sets the dates unilaterally, which even Fifpro itself (players' union) has complained about."

He also points directly at Real Madrid and continues to escalate the war he has with the white club.  "Real Madrid, with the squad it has, with the money it earned in the World Cup, shouldn't raise any issue over a few hours."

These words haven't gone over well at the white club and many journalists have criticized him. One who did so was Tomás Guasch. "You can't refute it because the Madrid player has been playing from July 2024 to July 2025," he began by stating.

"So don't come to me with jokes about UEFA, FIFA, the Warsaw Pact... There's a human issue here", Guasch added on El Partidazo de COPE.

One who surprisingly agreed with him was Gonzalo Miró. "I don't get it. I can't wrap my head around it, I can't understand it," he said, to the disbelief of many.

He also sent a message to Javier Tebas himself and was quite clear.  "There's no argument for defense, there's no logical argument to justify not postponing this 'because I say so'."

They can't believe it

From the upper management at Chamartín, they don't understand or comprehend the animosity Tebas has toward Real Madrid. It's not just about rejecting a change of dates for the first matchday, but the way he speaks is surprising. It's not typical of someone who is in charge of the national league championship.

Unfortunately, this says a lot, within the institution, it's not surprising at all and they already know this person very well. The distance with him is maximum and insurmountable.
