The Problem That Has Arisen for Real Madrid Before the Club World Cup

Real Madrid is one of the most important institutions in the world of soccer and one of the most followed around the entire planet. The fan base they have is extremely excited to see their team win any of the competitions they are in. However, right before one and the new ones like the Club World Cup, they have a rather significant problem.

All of this is because the dates on which the finals of certain tournaments will be played could complicate the Merengue's participation. It all starts with May 31, which is the Champions League final, followed by the semifinals and final of the Nations League. The final of the national team tournament will be on June 8, and then the Club World Cup will begin on June 15.

This schedule has been one of the craziest things we have been able to witness over the years watching soccer. A show that FIFA is extremely focused more on the economic aspect than on the sporting one.

A Crazy End of Season

If we already thought there was an unbelievable number of matches throughout this regular season, the end of it is no less. We are talking about footballers potentially playing at least five matches in just 15 days.

All this without counting that starting June 15, a Club World Cup begins with an exorbitant number of matches. Obviously, this could end up taking a toll on the physical condition of the footballers, not this season but looking ahead to the next one.

The physical effort many of them have made has been monumental and now it could be much worse. Something that FIFA, instead of preventing, is promoting.

Someone Has to Stop This

Before it's too late, someone has to get to work, as this situation is starting to get out of control and becoming exploitation. Now more than ever, the players need someone who can defend them from these indirect attacks.
