Vini's team's market: 33 players signed to keep the category

The Brazilian owns a Portuguese team and has made a large number of signings

Vinicius will remain at Real Madrid. The transfer market has caused quite a bit of discussion, but the Brazilian won't be changing clubs, at least for now. Regarding his contract renewal, there are no updates and his contract ends in 2027.

Beyond his career as a footballer, Vini is the president of Futebol Clube de Alverca, a Portuguese club that managed to get promoted to the Primeira Liga after 21 years of absence. During this transfer window, the Portuguese side made 33 signings, thus betting on youth and signing players from 14 different nationalities.

Many of them have arrived on loan or as free agents. One of the most notable is Sergi Gómez, a Catalan center-back who has played for Celta, Sevilla, and Espanyol, among others. The defender is facing his first spell away from Spain.

It is worth highlighting that the Murcian Nabil Touaizi is another deal to consider, as is that of the forward Marezi, who comes from UD Almería on loan. Tomás Mendes, who arrives from Alavés, or young Colombian prospects like Gian Cabezas or Honduran players like Julián Martínez, are other signings that stand out.

Challenging league start

Alverca's start to the league has been far from ideal. After four matchdays, it hasn't secured a win: it has lost three matches and drawn one. It should be noted that Vinicius was present at the match against Benfica, which took place last August 31.

The Madrid number "7", who has always made it clear that his priority is his playing career, trusts he can turn the situation around. After all, it's a new project and, as such, it requires some time to adapt. Results aren't achieved overnight.

Good form

The important thing for Madridists is that it seems he's regaining his best form as a footballer. His performance against Mallorca was quite good and he has managed to step up after a season where he wasn't at his best. Meanwhile, Florentino trusts he will become decisive again and, above all, reach an agreement to renew his contract.
