Pathetic Excuse: Tebas Juggles to Harm Madrid with the Schedules
Real Madrid continues to complain about the schedules set by LaLiga for games away from Bernabéu
It's well known that the relationship between Real Madrid and Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, isn't the best in the world. As much as Louzán, president of the Federation, has the clear objective of having FlorentinoPérez get along with the president of the competition. At the white club, it's very clear that LaLiga constantly harms the reigning champion in certain decisions.
An example of this is the schedules Real Madrid has. The Meringue team, which could play up to more than 70 games this season, doesn't get any support from LaLiga. In fact, Javier Tebas keeps making efforts to harm the club that contributes the most to his own product.
Schedules are a big problem for Real Madrid
At Real Madrid, they're already tired of having to play games away from Santiago Bernabéu starting at 9 p.m. The last game at Mestalla was also at that time, so LaLiga continues its antics from the first day of the year.
This causes players, at best, to arrive at their homes at 3 a.m. Obviously, when a person gets home, they don't fall asleep instantly, so athletes could be active until late hours.
The data is there
Real Madrid doesn't complain for no reason. They have data that corroborates what's happening, something that in LaLiga seems to matter very little. Carlo Ancelotti's team has played so far seven matches at 9:00 PM, one at 6:30 PM, and two at 9:30 PM.
Curiously, the match Real Madrid played away at 6:30 PM was in Leganés, just a few minutes from Madrid. Evidently, it seems everything is handpicked to harm the white team when they play away from Bernabéu.
Meanwhile, Javier Tebas's excuse is that Real Madrid has to play at a prime time. An argument that falls apart when you see what time the whites play at Bernabéu, where all schedules are understood.
Ancelotti's team has played at Santiago Bernabéu from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, including 4:15 PM, 5:00 PM, and 6:30 PM. Javier Tebas's excuse is quite pathetic, and at Real Madrid, they're already quite tired of the treatment received.
