Mbappé's triple substitution with Xabi Alonso is now official

Mbappé is experiencing a major change this season with Xabi Alonso as coach

There has been much discussion about the main beneficiaries at Real Madrid with Xabi Alonso's arrival. Mastantuono, Gonzalo, and Arda Güler are taking advantage of the bet on young players. It seems that he's going to rely on them a lot during the season, which is a notable change for the Turk compared to Ancelotti.

But they wouldn't be the only ones since Mbappé has also been able to see the triple change he's undergone. The Frenchman has started the season on fire with 3 goals in 2 matches. He's been decisive, earning points for Los Blancos, and has become the true leader.

This has been in part thanks to the change in attitude the Frenchman has shown at Real Madrid. Upon his arrival, many voices pointed out that he was a shy person who didn't want to bother anyone. He seemed to want to stay in the background without entering the existing hierarchy.

He's broken with all of that, and on the field, you can see a much more self-confident Kylian. He's hungry to achieve everything, and that's starting to show in his play and his behavior. Now he truly is a leader at Real Madrid, pulling the team forward from the start.

Mbappé takes responsibility by Xabi Alonso's decision

Xabi Alonso has arrived at Real Madrid knowing that he had some important matters to address. One of them was betting on the team's leadership, and he was thinking of Mbappé. For the Basque, the Frenchman has always been number one in that regard within his plans.

This has also been reflected in these first matches by one of his decisions. Against Osasuna, he took responsibility for taking the penalty that had been awarded. He'll be the first-choice penalty taker, putting an end to the controversy that existed last season with Vinícius.

Finally, he'll also be in charge of taking free kicks, although here he'll have more competition. Arda Güler or Rodrygo could also, at some point, take a direct free kick on the opponent's goal. But the first on the list, just like with penalties, is Mbappé.
