Valverde Clarifies the Dispute and Says What Happened between Ancelotti and His Wife

He confessed the conversation he had after those messages and that he had to address the controversy

Real Madrid experienced a major slump in the season months ago, where they seemed to have hit rock bottom. They lost the Clásico against Barça and also against Milan, both games at Bernabéu. It seemed the team was sunk and wouldn't be able to get out of there.

To top it off, some tweets from Mina Bonino, Fede Valverde's wife, turned everything upside down. The Argentine journalist complained about her husband's position, which was out of place. This clouded the atmosphere, and even Ancelotti was asked about it.

However, Fede Valverde himself still had to speak out and broke his silence months later. It was during the press conference before the Supercopa final in Arabia against Barça. There he wanted to reveal everything that happened between Mina Bonino and Ancelotti.

"There was never a discussion or conflict between Ancelotti and me," Fede Valverde began by saying. He also indicated that "he always wants the best for me, and my wife does too, and I can't take anyone's side." The Uruguayan was clear about the controversy that arose.

Fede Valverde confesses he had a talk after those messages

Those messages were after the match against Milan, where Fede was also substituted at halftime. But he confessed how he found out. "Since I don't use social media, my wife's message episode was a surprise." He found out when he got home because his circle told him.

He also pointed out that he had a talk with Ancelotti to try to clear everything up. "The coach and I are honest and sincere, and we talked afterward and cleared everything up," he confessed. Therefore, the controversy didn't last long, although some wanted to see it differently.

In fact, Ancelotti's confidence in Valverde makes it clear there's no problem between them. Fede has played all 29 matches Real Madrid has played this season. All of them as a starter, so there's no anger, and he continues to bet on him.
